The HDFC Bank Parivartan Educational Crisis Scholarship Support (ECSS) Programme 2026–27 is a scholarship initiative designed to support meritorious students from financially disadvantaged families in India.

## HDFC Parivartan Scholarship Amount 2026–27
The scholarship amount is not the same for every student. The amount depends on the applicant's current class/course and whether the course is general or professional.
**Classes 1 to 6 **– ₹15,000
Students currently studying in Classes 1 to 6 can receive a scholarship amount of ₹15,000.
**Classes 7 to 12 **– ₹18,000
Students studying in Classes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12 can receive financial assistance of ₹18,000.
## Diploma, ITI & Polytechnic – ₹18,000
Eligible students pursuing Diploma, ITI or Polytechnic courses can receive ₹18,000.

## HDFC Parivartan Scholarship Eligibility 2026–27
Students must satisfy the eligibility requirements for their respective education level.
The three major conditions applicable across the programme are:
Academic Marks: The applicant should have obtained at least 55% marks in the most recent qualifying examination.
Family Income: The applicant's annual family income from all sources should not exceed ₹2.5 lakh.
Nationality: The applicant must be an Indian national.
## Eligibility for School Students
Students studying in Classes 1 to 12 can apply.
The student should currently be studying at a private, government or government-aided educational institution in India.
The applicant should have secured at least 55% marks in the previous qualifying examination.
The annual family income from all sources should be ₹2.5 lakh or less.
The applicant must be an Indian national.
Preference is given to students who have experienced a serious personal or family crisis during the previous three years that has affected their family's ability to pay educational expenses.

## Is a Family or Personal Crisis Compulsory?
A personal or family crisis is an important factor in the programme, but the current 2026–27 guidance clarifies that it is not mandatory for every applicant.
Students who have faced a crisis during the previous three years may receive preference during selection.
Examples can include the death of an earning family member, loss of employment in the family, failure of self-employment, serious illness or medical emergencies, or the impact of a natural disaster.
Applicants should provide supporting crisis documents only when the situation genuinely applies to them.
## Can Students With a Gap Year Apply?
A gap year does not automatically make a student ineligible.
The current programme guidance indicates that students who have taken a gap year may still apply if they have valid proof showing that they are currently admitted and pursuing their education during the 2026–27 academic year.
